How can someone remain pure?   Practical help No one except Jesus has lived a truly pure life. Our lives have been stained and contaminated by the sins we have committed, including our use of Web porn. By placing our trust in Him, through His shed blood, He purifies us from all sin — past and future. That’s great news for those of us who struggle against the pull of smut. So what does that mean for us in practical terms? It means that we don’t have to be held captive by past sins. It means that we have the opportunity to experience a new and fresh start right now with Jesus. The future is bright! “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). By His mercy He has purified us from all past and future sins. By His grace He helps us to abide in His purity right now. Go ahead and take action right now by doing three things: 1. Rejoice in your purity! 2. Turn your attention upon Jesus and thank Him. 3. Resist the pull of porn by standing strong in Christ.
