heaven and earth, that Thou didst hide these things
from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to
babes."

hid from the wise and intelligent?

being smart?
Practical
help
If you are confronted with
a basic problem like 2 + 2 = ?, does it matter whether
or not you know calculus to derive the answer? The
point is, once you know the answer, you can apply it
to your life. You dont have to learn it again
and again, each time at a "deeper" level.
On this passage, Oswald Chambers
says, "In spiritual relationship we do not grow step
by step; we are either there or we are not. God does
not cleanse us more and more from sin, but when we are
in the light, walking in the light, we are cleansed
from all sin. It is a question of obedience, and
instantly the relationship is perfected."
For most people, it is really
not necessary to argue that pornography weakens our
brains and weakens our relationships with others
including God. The problem is more about being stuck
and feeling worthless in the grip of a sin. And if
this is where you are, I have great news for you. You
know the answer, and you simply need to apply it to
your life.
Ask God to help you. Confess
your sin and turn from it. Transformation comes sooner
rather than later when you obey; its not a
process worked out slowly over decades of time. God
has better things for you than surfing for porn. Get
on with your life and His plan.
