Passage: I Corinthians 10:13* No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. Questions 1. Do you have a line beyond which you cannot resist temptation? If so, where is it drawn?   2. Does God recognize these "lines," or does he allow you to be tempted "too far"?   Helpful hints Paul says God will not allow you to be tempted "beyond what you can bear." So why can temptation feel unbearable? One reason: You might be focusing on the temptation (common enough because it can be overwhelming) rather than looking for God's way out. Consider these "way out" options: Call a friend! Explain your current struggle as much as you can, then ask for encouragement and prayer. Hit the power button now! Removing access to Web porn ensures that you won't view it — at least for now. Worry about later later (see Matthew 6:34).
