In what way could this approach affect our mindset about pornography?   Helpful hints Joseph had an interesting perspective on betrayal, slavery and imprisonment. To him, it added up to one thing: the long-term benefit of his people. Couldn't we appropriate Joseph’s attitude in our struggles with pornography? Granted, porn is a bad thing. It undermines our families and our faith. In some cases, it destroys lives. But it does create in us one valuable good thing: the ability to help others. Like Joseph, we can use our battles with pornography to help fellow travelers. Ask a close friend if he or she struggles in this area.
