Welcome to eXXit, the web site designed to help you stand strong in the face of sexual temptation.

Passage: Matthew 5:4*

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Questions

1. What does it mean to be "mourn?"

2. The world would invite us to pursue the opposite of this, what would that be?

3. Why do you think this one follows "Blessed are the poor in spirit?"

Practical help

To truly see your condition as a sinner, a process of mourning will begin. If you want to be a disciple of Jesus, you must look at your sin with pornography as enough to require your Lord to die on a cross for you. When you accept the fact that your sins alone are enough to drive the nails into His hands and feet, you will begin the process of mourning.

The good news is that you are promised God’s comfort. This love will strengthen you to walk away from a life Jesus could never bless.
