Passage: Matthew 6:24* (Jesus speaking to his disciples) "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Question Who are your masters?   Practical help The verse above teaches that the two masters will not tug at us equally. Neither will we be equal in our loyalties, giving same service to both at the same time. No, one master will overbear the other, and we will give our full loyalties — not partial — to that dominant master. Granted, we can switch allegiances — even daily — but the change is full-tilt, for one or the other master. No wonder that as we struggle with porn, we're either 100 percent into it, or 100 percent against it, even if we switch our convictions about it from day to day (typically the case with us struggling Christians). When are we ever 50-50 about it? The constant switching is fatiguing and self-defeating. Sound like you? Give yourself a break. Eliminate the vacillation and confusion.
