Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set
your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed*.
*In the context of this passage the revealing of Jesus Christ
refers to his promise to return and bring believers home to heaven.
Jesus Christ is going to return someday to take you home to heaven!

Wow!
Focus! Focus! Focus!
This is definitely one of the buzz words of the decade but,
ironically, its exhortation sometimes blurs from overstatement. (or when pointed at the
wrong target)
In this passage Peter is focusing on the focus of all foci -- grace
fulfilled in the glorious return of the Savior Jesus Christ.
Are you basing your hope in the future on how well you, in your own
strength, can deal with the temptations of pornography? If so, how's it going?
When you're finally weary of having that hope collapse try setting
your hope on the loving, powerful grace of God. Then you'll know when Jesus returns he'll
say "well done, good and faithful servant."
