Question What is porn's value to you?   Practical help If you're like many porn strugglers, you probably recognize smut's worthlessness but sadly recognize that you dignify it every time you view it. Like us, the writer above struggles with saying no to worthless things in his life (verse 37). As elsewhere in this short passage, the psalmist knows only one place to turn. Make that only one person to turn to, namely Almighty God. The psalmist knows that God can empower him to do what he can't accomplish on his own, namely turn his "eyes away from worthless things." In the same way, God can turn our eyes away from smut.
