Practical help
God has really been good to us! When we remember His goodness and all that He has done and continues to do for us, we can’t help but be thankful to Him. We really don’t deserve His love for us and we don’t deserve any of the good things he has done for us either. Being thankful helps us to maintain the right perspective and see the truth.
When thankfulness becomes an integral part of your life, you’ll see a change in attitude take place. Likely, you’ll be more humble, positive, kind and loving. You will also be strengthened against the pull of Web porn. Considering what God has done for you and being thankful to Him will make a big difference the next time you face temptation. Your desire will be to resist and remain pure.
What are some of the things you are thankful for that God has done for you? It might be helpful for you to list a few. As you do, you’ll be reminded of the truth of His love for you. That may be your best defense against temptation.
