Implication: If you consume a steady diet of spiritual junk food — including web pornography and other unhealthy menu items — your life will drain away to nothing. Of course, the opposite approach offers encouragement. A life of faith creates an enduring life. As Jesus says in John 6:29, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."
