What is the extent to which God is aware of your actions and your thoughts?   3. What are the consequences of sin?   Practical help Everything tends to eventually become public knowledge — well, everything does in fact. In the case of God’s knowing, nothing is ever hidden from Him. It’s all out in the open for Him to see. Even a porn habit. This verse comes from a passage in which the writer seeks to warn against the folly of adultery. One of his points is this: you can’t practice sexual sin and not escape God’s notice and the natural consequences that go with it. Sooner or later you will be caught in it and held by its cords. If you are resisting the idea of bringing your porn struggle out into the open, know that it will one day become public knowledge anyway — maybe even in humiliating ways. God already knows! Take the initiative today and get some help. Humble yourself and ask God to direct you to someone who will encourage and stand accountable with you.
