(By the way, this is an excellent one to memorize). 1. You are not alone. Your temptations are common to men and women all around you. 2. The temptation has not overtaken you. You might think it is overwhelming. Step back and think about it. 3. God is faithful. He will come through for you because that is his nature. However, the fact you have temptations is not proof that God is not faithful. Remember Jesus was tempted in the wilderness for forty days. 4. God knows your limits. You might not, but he promises you won't break if you resist. 5. There is a way out. Look for ways to stand strong. Talk to other Christians or your pastor. Read Scripture. Pray.
