Passage: Mark 1:40-42* 40. And a leper came to Him, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." 41. And moved with compassion, He stretched out His hand, and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing' be cleansed." 42. And immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Questions 1. How was the leper healed?   Practical help One problem of leprosy is that sufferers lose the ability to feel. They could injure themselves and not know it. Infections may set in, leading to the loss of toes and fingers. Eventually the sufferers could die because they are unable to feel life-threatening conditions. Internet pornography is like a disease that affects our ability to feel correctly. We are at first titillated or possibly shocked by what we see. Eventually, however, we become numb, and as numbness sets in, we lose our ability to feel appropriately about God, ourselves and other people. As with the leper in Mark 1:40-42, Jesus is moved with compassion for your problems and is willing to touch and heal you. Go to Jesus now. You won't regret it.
