What was our situation when God exercised His grace toward us in the extreme?   2. Why does God take the risk of being gracious to us when we seem to fail so easily?   Practical help God’s grace is given even before we know we need it! This is the first principle of God’s extreme grace toward us. He didn’t wait for us to come to the realization of our personal need for His forgiveness and grace before taking action on our behalf. He took the initiative, laying down His own life for us long before we realized our need to be set free from sin’s death and bondage. Grace doesn’t stop there; Jesus sacrificed himself for people that He knew would eventually reject His offer of life. His love and grace are so great that He’s willing to risk rejection. That’s extreme grace! From God’s perspective, you were worth the risk of grace. Failures and struggles have not caused God to change His mind about you. You are still worth the risk. He loves you!
